summerjames: Apple Drinking Vinegar When we saw that a James Beard Award winner—Pok Pok’s Andy Ricker—was designing “drinking vinegars,” we knew we had to try them. They’re now an in-house favorite: We mix this sweet-tart, apple-scented vinegar with soda water and lemon slices for a fizzy summer treat. When the 5 o’clock bell rings, it’s excellent in a gin or bourbon cocktail. There is a bottle of apple cider vinegar on my work desk right now as part of a cold remedy regimen.  This stuff MUST taste better.
